Game over.
Otherphil and I head off for Blighty this afternoon. I've just got back from a session on the water with a 6.9m sail which is the largest sail I think I've ever used. Yesterday was fantastic wind except Otherphil put his back out.
It's a strange venue for windsurfing really. Between "Ibi and Friends" and the main sailing area, there's a large 'dead zone' where the wind comes in over the hotels. The result is that to get out without too much pain, you almostr always have to rig something that makes you overpowered when you get to "Speedy". Then, if the wind drops even a fraction, the trip home is an agony of flapping and wobbling and trying not to lose too much way downwind.
Time to go now. It's beautifully sunny and I've been very grateful for the burning sun which has been so totally absent in England this year. I'm really looking forward to seeing D and the kids now.
